Dark landmasses and turbulent weather make Necros seem an inhospitable planet at the best of time. There are two main industries on Necros: A series of protein factories to feed neighbouring planets, and the cryogenic storage facility known as the Tranqiul Repose.
When the sixth Doctor visited Necros he found that the bodies in the Tranquil Repose were being used as the base of the synthetic
protein made by the factories. But more appalling is the revelation that Davros is present on Necros, using bodies as the base
for his new breed of Daleks.
Fighting breaks between two Dalek factions, and casualties mount. The two industries lie in ruins, but the Doctor is able to make an alternative suggestion.
