Mogar

Mogar is an oxygen-free planet, home of the Mogarians. The planet is extremly rich in precious metals, including vionesium, a metal similar to magensium which emits an intense light on exposure to oxygen.

The planet was highly exploited by the Earth Empire. The metals were transported using grade one security craft. The sixth Doctor and Mel were called to one of these crafts, and used the vionesium to destroy the Vervoids.
