Manussa

The surface of the planet Manussa is quite sandy, although there are some primitive settlements. There are also large cave systems.

The planet was originally inhabited by the Sumarans, but they were destroyed by the Mara which they had accidentally created. The Mara was later banished by the Federation.

The fifth Doctor, along with Tegan and Nyssa visited the planet when Tegan, once again under the control of the Mara, set the co-ordinates.
