Mandrels

Mandrels are savage, hideous, swamp creatures from the planet Eden. In order to catalgoue every species Tryst had created a Continuous Event Transmitter which stored planetary ecology as electromagnetic signals. A projection device allowed the operator to view the signals.

The Mandrels, and part of the planet of Eden, were stored by Tryst. When killed the Madrels quickly de-composed leaving behind the deadly drug Vraxoin, which would induce a state of warm complacency followed by agonising withdrawl symptoms and eventually death.
