Lakertyans

Lakertyans are a peaceful, pacifistic race, who were used by the Rani to help her experiments. Although quite primitive, the Lakertyans lived mainly in a recreation centre. The leader of the Lakertyans, Beyus, did have a laboratory that was forbidden to all others.

The newly regenerated seventh Doctor, when returning to the TARDIS, noticed a skeleton of one of the Lakerytans. He described them as humanoid with reptilian influences. Their skin has a yellow tint with scales round the hairline.
